A spinning top frozen in time — gold, glowing from within.

Tol — Dutch for spinning top — takes its name from its psychedelic suspended form. Alternating totem-stack patterns in gold resin sit on a blunt-angled base, each section glowing from within when lit. In a completely dark space, only the golden light strip remains visible, making the housing itself appear to be the source of light. Available in three heights, all sharing the same ∅48 cm diameter.

What is the difference between the three heights?

All three share ∅48 cm and the same design. Short (H 37 cm) works as a low accent piece. Medium (H 107 cm) suits most living rooms. Tall (H 145 cm) makes a dramatic totem statement in rooms with higher ceilings.

Why does the housing appear to glow?

The totem sections are made from translucent gold resin. The integrated LED illuminates the resin from within, so in a dim space the housing appears to be a self-luminous object rather than a conventional shade.

Does it use a replaceable bulb?

No. The light source is an integrated LED module — no bulb to buy or replace.
