⚠ G45 globe bulb required for the correct look — not any E26/E27
To achieve the iconic look shown in product photos — with the light source neatly concealed within the curve of the shade — you must use a G45 globe-style bulb with an E26 or E27 screw base. The G45 is smaller in diameter and height than a standard bulb, keeping it hidden within the arch.
Standard or high-wattage bulbs may protrude beyond the rim of the shade and alter the intended aesthetic.
∅47cm (18.5″) version: bulb wattage must not exceed 15W. A higher-wattage G45 may be physically larger and extend beyond the rim.
