Frequently Asked QuestionsHow is the glass shade made?
Liquid glass is blown into a folded, heat-resistant fabric vessel. As it cools, the glass takes on the texture and drape of the fabric — a form that looks soft but is permanently rigid. A flat LED inside fills the volume with diffuse light.
Is a dimmable version available?
Yes. Select Triac Dimmable Warm Light at checkout. It requires a TRIAC (Thyristor) dimmer switch for smooth, flicker-free operation — standard rotary dimmers are not compatible. The standard Warm Light version works with any common wall switch.
Will my glass shade vary from the photos?
Subtle variation in form and texture between pieces is inherent to the process — the glass flows and sets differently in each fabric vessel. This makes each piece unique, not a defect.
What color temperatures are available?
Two standard options at checkout: Warm Light (non-dimmable, wall switch) and Triac Dimmable Warm Light (requires TRIAC dimmer switch). If you need a different color temperature such as 4000K or 6000K, we can customize — contact us before ordering.
Can I order a custom size or finish?
Yes. We can customize size, finish color, number of light sources, and wire or chain length. Email us at info and we will reply within 24 hours.
Does installation require an electrician?
Yes. The fixture is hardwired to your ceiling junction box and controlled via a wall switch. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
