Forma is a linear pendant built from two oval solid walnut discs in offset alignment, each cradling a frosted-glass downlight dome. The walnut is finished to bring out the natural amber-brown grain; the warm LED glow reflects subtly across the disc undersides, giving the pendant a soft second halo. Suspended on twin steel cables.

At 60 cm long (23.6″), Forma is sized for 4-6 person dining tables, breakfast nooks, and small kitchen islands. Hardwired installation by a licensed electrician — designed as a permanent fixture for everyday dining.

Walnut is a natural hardwood with grain pattern unique to every tree. Color depth, grain direction, and tonal warmth vary between pieces. Solid wood may also develop slight movement over years — this is the wood breathing with seasonal humidity, not a defect.

Total fixture weight is just 1.35 kg (3 lb) — well within any modern junction box’s load rating. Suspension cables are adjustable, so your electrician can fine-tune the hanging height during installation. We recommend a final hanging height of 30-36″ above the dining table surface for 4-6 person tables, or 30-32″ above kitchen island countertops.

Why isn’t Forma dimmable?Forma uses a fixed-output 3000K LED designed for everyday dining at consistent warm brightness. Many of our customers prefer this — no dimmer switch to fumble with, no compatibility issues with smart-home setups, just one reliable warm light when you flip the switch. If you need adjustable levels for the room, we recommend pairing Forma with a separately-dimmed accent light or wall sconce on a different big a dining table does this fit?Forma is 60 cm (23.6″) long — sized for 4-6 person dining tables, breakfast nooks, or small kitchen islands. As a rule of thumb, the pendant should be roughly 1/2 to 2/3 the length of the table for proportional balance. For tables longer than 8 ft, look at our wider linear pendants. For round tables, hang Forma centered above tables 36-48″ in the wood crack or warp over time?Solid walnut is a natural material — it breathes with humidity changes throughout the year. Over the course of years, you may see hairline grain lines develop or a few millimeters of natural movement. This is wood being wood, not a defect. To minimize movement: avoid hanging Forma directly above a steam-prone cooktop, install away from direct HVAC vents, and maintain steady indoor humidity (40-60% is ideal).Can I install this myself, or do I need an electrician?We recommend installation by a licensed electrician. The wiring connection is straightforward (line, neutral, ground to a ceiling junction box), but Forma’s twin suspension cables need to be balanced and adjusted to your final hanging height during installation.
