Description

Industrial Metal Pendant Collection — 14 dome forms, matte black or black-gold, chain suspension.

Fourteen metal pendant shades — each a distinct dome or cup form pressed and finished in matte black or black with gold interior — hang on adjustable link chains from a ceiling canopy. The shades are open at the base, directing an E27 bulb’s light directly downward with no diffusion above the rim. All models are compatible with sloped ceilings up to 30° and the 59″ chain can be extended for higher ceilings. Each model is named A through N (excluding J) and is available in one to three diameter options.

ⓘ Sloped ceiling compatible — all models can be installed on angled ceilings up to 30°. Standard installation on flat ceilings requires no adapter.

Bulb & Light Source

E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) — bulb not included

All models are open at the base — the bulb is fully visible below the rim. An Edison filament globe or teardrop bulb at 2700 K is the intended pairing: the visible warm filament below a matte black dome is the characteristic look of this collection. LED filament at 8–10W provides the same visual warmth with lower energy use. Frosted standard A-shape bulbs also work if you prefer less glare, but the bulb will be less visually interesting from below. Do not use bulbs that extend significantly below the rim — the shade is designed to frame rather than conceal the bulb.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I choose between the 14 models?

The 14 models represent distinct shade forms — from broad shallow domes (Models A, I, K) to deep narrow cylinders (Models C, D, E) to intermediate bowl profiles (Models G, M). The key decisions are: (1) depth — a shallower dome directs light in a wider spread; a deeper shade concentrates light more directly below; (2) diameter — scale to your table or island width, generally choosing a shade 30–50% of the table width for a solo pendant; and (3) whether you want the shade form to be a strong visual statement or a minimal fixture. Review the size diagram images carefully — each model’s silhouette is distinct and will read differently in your space.

Should I choose Matte Black or Black & Gold?

Both finishes use a matte black exterior. The difference is the interior — Matte Black has a black interior that absorbs much of the upward light reflection; Black & Gold has a warm gold interior that reflects additional warm light downward onto the surface below the shade. If your primary use is task lighting — over a kitchen island or workbench — Black & Gold provides more light output at the same bulb wattage. If you prefer the more graphic, cooler light quality and the shade as a pure object, Matte Black is the cleaner choice.

Can I install this on a sloped ceiling?

Yes — all models in this collection are compatible with sloped ceilings up to 30° without an additional adapter. The ceiling canopy is designed to accommodate the installation angle within this range. For slopes greater than 30°, contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility or adapter availability.
