Iota P40 700 Lumen Low-Profile Emergency Light Ballast
The IOTA P40 is a UL Listed fluorescent emergency ballast that allows the same fixture to be used for both normal and emergency operation. In the event of a power failure, the P40 switches power from the normal AC ballast and operates one or two of the existing lamps for up to 90 minutes in the emergency mode from the P40 battery supply.
The unit contains a battery, charger, and inverter circuit in a single enclosure for installation within the wireway or on top of the fixture (RME1 accessory required for top mounting.)
The P40 can be used with most 2-4 T8 lamps with an initial output of up to 700 lumens for one or two lamps. The P40 features a plug and port connector system for quick and easy end-of-life replacement without rewiring.
The P40 is suitable for use in enclosed and gasketed fixtures and is a direct fit and function replacement for the PS600QD fluorescent emergency ballast
