Description
Fiberglass Dome Pendant — raw torn edge, gold leaf interior, matte white dome.
A fiberglass dome — matte white on the outside, its surface carrying the texture of the material’s own weave — ends not in a clean machined edge but in a raw, irregular torn rim where the glass fibre strands protrude in short spikes around the perimeter. The interior is finished in warm gold metallic leaf. When lit, the E27 bulb illuminates the gold interior and warm amber light radiates outward through the raw fibreglass edge — the torn perimeter glows most intensely, like a ring of warm light that frames the underside of the dome. Available in three diameters: 40, 50, and 60 cm.
Handformed edge — the torn rim varies between pieces
The jagged lower edge of each shade is formed by tearing the fiberglass rather than cutting it cleanly. The exact profile, depth, and texture of the torn rim differ between individual pieces — no two shades have an identical edge. This variation is inherent to the material and the forming process and is not a defect.
ⓘ Sloped ceiling compatible — all sizes can be installed on angled ceilings up to 30° without an additional adapter.
Features
Raw Torn Fiberglass Edge
Irregular broken rim — every piece is unique. Glows amber when lit from within.
Gold Leaf Interior
Warm metallic gold inside — amplifies the E27 bulb as warm amber scatter below the rim.
Matte White Dome
Chalk-white fiberglass exterior — the weave texture visible at close range.
The gold interior changes the character of every room it enters
The dome exterior is neutral and minimal. The gold interior is the lamp’s hidden nature — visible only from below and only when lit.

Bulb & Light Source
E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) — bulb not included
A warm-white LED at 2700 K is recommended. The gold interior concentrates and reflects the warm light downward and outward, amplifying the amber quality of the light below the rim. The raw torn fiberglass edge illuminates most intensely from behind — a warm glowing band around the dome’s perimeter. A frosted globe or standard A-shape E26/E27 LED at 8–12W provides comfortable ambient illumination without visible source glare from below the rim. Avoid cool white (5000K+) which reads harshly against the gold interior and reduces the warmth of the edge glow.

Frequently Asked QuestionsWhy is the edge irregular — is that a defect?
No — the jagged lower rim is the result of the shade being formed by tearing the fiberglass rather than cutting it. This is the intended process and creates the lamp’s distinctive quality: the torn edge allows the gold interior to be partially visible from the side, and when lit, the short fibre strands at the perimeter glow with warm amber light in a halo around the base of the dome. The exact profile of the tear differs between pieces — some edges are more dramatic, others more subtle — but all are within the expected range for this material and process.
How visible is the gold interior from the room?
The gold interior is only visible when looking upward from below the shade — it is concealed by the dome when viewed from eye level or above. When the lamp is switched on, the gold interior reflects and amplifies the warm bulb light downward onto the surface below the pendant, and the torn edge perimeter glows amber as the light leaks through the raw fibre strands. From a normal seated position in the room, you will see: a matte white dome above, a ring of warm amber glow along its lower edge, and warm light pooling beneath on the table surface.
Which size works for a standard dining table?
The ∅ 50 cm is the most versatile choice for a standard 4–6 seat rectangular dining table — it provides sufficient light spread and visual weight without overpowering the table. The ∅ 40 cm is better suited to small round tables (2–4 seats), bedside pendants, or bar area installation. The ∅ 60 cm is the statement size — at this diameter the dome is a significant visual object in the room and works well over large tables, over kitchen islands, or in open-plan spaces where the pendant needs to anchor a specific zone.
Is this pendant certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
